Super Series 2025 Kicks Off with Exciting Matches
After a fantastic inaugural season last year, we kicked off the 2025 Super Series last Sunday with an action-packed day of tennis. The tournament saw a great mix of familiar faces and new competitors, with players from other academies across the island joining the competition.
SiamSportsPro was well represented, with the majority of our players and coaching team participating. With fewer female players in the draw, the tournament began with the women’s singles and doubles. Daria emerged victorious in the singles, while Amy and Kate claimed the doubles title.
Daria also took on the challenge of competing in the Men’s Singles as the only female participant. She delivered an outstanding performance, making it all the way to the final before falling to Bright in a hard-fought match.
The Men’s Doubles event was a thrilling spectacle, featuring SSP’s coach, former ATP No. 78 Konstantin, who partnered with Uri to clinch the title. They faced stiff competition from father-son duo Timo and Troy in an exciting final. A special mention goes to young Troy for his impressive display against adult opponents, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship, skill, and determination.
The Mixed Doubles draw was stacked with talent, and the final did not disappoint. Ohm and Nat secured a narrow victory over Elena and Aleksei in a tense tiebreak, capping off a highly competitive event.
It was fantastic to see coaches and players from across the island come together to celebrate the sport we all love.
Super Series II is set for May—will we see a repeat of these champions, or will new names rise to the top?
Next up is the Songkran Open, and registration is now open! Join us on Sunday, April 13th, as we celebrate the Thai New Year with another thrilling tournament.
